Random Quote of the Week

Thank you whoever made this and Facebook for letting me see this!!

To all the single ladies in such a hurry to get married, here's a quick piece of Bibical advice:

Ruth patiently waited for her mate Boaz. While waiting on YOUR Boaz, don't settle for ANY of his relatives: Brokeaz, Poaz, Lyinaz, Cheatinaz, Dumbaz, Cheapaz, Lockedupaz, Goodfornothinaz, Lazyaz or Marriedaz, and especially his third cousin Beatinyoaz. Please, wait for your Boaz and make sure he respects Yoaz.

I am so glad I found my Boaz!!

Update on the life of JaNae

Life is fun... sometimes... sometimes not so much. It has been a crazy month! I figured that I should give an update since a lot has happened since my last post. I'll number the topics and then you can decide what you want to read. I guess my English class is making me all smart and organized. :)

Here we go... Topics of conversation
1-My freakish pass out episodes
2-My Grandpa's surgery
3-School starting
4-Institute starting
5-Quitting Big 5
6-Ambulance friends
         *Car breaking down
         *Engagement ring
*Dinner
7-Stupid Boys
8-Cleaning my room
9-BYU Football
10-Getting rear ended
11-Chiropractor/Massage therapist

1-As far as the freakish pass out episodes go. I went in for several tests, an EEG, and and Endoscopy. The EEG came back normal. I sent a text to one of my friends telling her it came back normal and her response was something to the idea of Ha! Well, at least you have proof that your brain in normal, some people would question that. I loved it! As for the Endoscopy, it showed that I have ulcers (I already knew that) and they said that it could be bleeding ulcers causing me to pass out. LAME! So, I have been grounded from Ibuprophen, since they cause ulcers. I haven't had anymore episodes since thought, so that is happy. Personally, I think that it is just a stress response. I don't handle stress very well and I think my body just shuts down.

2- My grandpa is doing a lot better. It got pretty bad there for awhile. He was really sick, and not eating, and just not himself. However, he is now in rehab and doing tons and tons better. He still struggles eating, but we're making progress! He is expected to come home in a week from today! So next Friday. Cross your fingers!

3-School started! I am taking English 2010, Physical Science, Ethics and Values, and an Intro. to Emergency Services class. I decided over the summer (I don't remember if I blogged about it or not) that I was going to get my Paramedic certificate. Nursing was too boring, and I was never going to get through school if I didn't love what I was doing. So, I will graduate with my bachelors in Emergency Services and my Paramedic certificate. If I get into the program in April, I will be done April 2012. YAY!!

4- I started LDSSA! I love it! I haven't been able to go to much, but what I have been able to go to has been a lot of fun!!

5-I quit Big 5 about a week before my 4 yr mark. I worked there for a LONG time!! I loved it! However, I was so over booked with my life. I had a ton of ambulance hours to make up. I was going to school full time, I had LDSSA, and a sick Grandpa. I needed time for me, and to not be going NON-STOP. I am currently not working, just running ambulance. I saved up enough money over the summer, and with ambulance I should be able to even out. I won't really be saving any money, I should just come out even and I can actually have some time to be a young single adult aka College Student! YES! I didn't think I was missing much until EFY and seeing how much fun people have. I love it!

6-I LOVE my ambulance crew!! We have so much fun! I love rescue too!!! I just love Emergency Services. Fire, Rescue, Ambulance, Police. I LOVE IT!! We are all friends and get along so well.
*My first day back on call (after being grounded) I went to Shopko, and I went out to my car to go home (fortunately I didn't get paged) and my car wouldn't start. I seriously laughed. It was either laugh, or cry. I said to myself. "Of course, of course this would happen." I called Kim, and asked her if she would come and get me. She did, then we went and got a drink. Her husband came and looked at it after he got off work, and with the help of my uncle Travis we jumped it and it worked! It turns out my battery was just bad. Easy fix, and it's better than the alternator which we thought it was...
*I decided that Me, Mike, and Kim needed to get out of Spanish Fork and go play! We were going to go to dinner and movie, but just ended up going to dinner. We went to Outback Steakhouse. it was pretty good and we of course had a blast, cause that's what we do! I have pictures on my camera... which is with me... but the cord is at home, so I will have to add pictures later. :)               *Kim needed a new purse and I did too. So, we met at the mall to go shopping. She wanted to show me this really pretty ring that she was looking at when she was going to update her ring. While we were there we decided that we were going to get the biggest most ridiculous ring and take a picture and try and psych Mike out. It was great! The story was that I met a guy on Sunday and we got engaged the next day. "cause when you know, you know" It was great! The ring was ridiculous!! $30,000!!!! I couldn't believe it!! I loved it though! I could never wear something that huge, but I could wear something similar to it :)

7-I have decided that I am going to dig a hole, stick every boy in it and fill it with water! The end

8-I cleaned my room so good! It needed it! I took everything out of the closet and went through stuff. I don't think I have opened that closet in YEARS, because we got a bigger and better closet. There was stuff in there that was so fun to look at and a lot of stuff that we threw away. Now, I have a functional closet and stuff to put my stuff in, instead of on the floor.

9-Tava and I bought an All Sports Pass for BYU. Which includes BYU football. I have never really gotten into football. However, it sounded fun! We went to our first game with her old roommate, and her friend. I loved it!!! We went to Panda Express after wards. While we were eating there was a car accident. Nothing to big, but I went over to make sure everyone was okay and I ran into a health counselor that was at EFY. He worked with the blue team. I worked with the yellow team.

10-I got rear ended on my way to school the other day. It wasn't bad at all. Neither car was hurt. He merged lanes and didn't stop in time, and ended up hitting me. It was one of those times I just laughed and said "of course, of course this happened" (This was before the Shopko, car breaking down incident). When I got out of my car I realized that it was a kid I went to high school. He laughed and said "Of all people, it had to be you!" He was in my seminary class our senior year and I bugged him ALL DAY LONG! It was a fun little blast from the past!

11-Koral got me an appointment with her chiropractor since he really helped her headaches, and maybe it would help with mine. Sure enough, IT HELPED!!! I used to consume A LOT of ibuprophen, A LOT. Like... 3-4 a day. Hence, the ulcers. Ibuprophen was the only thing that would stop it from getting worse. It wouldn't make it go away. It would just prevent it from getting worse. I have gone to the chiropractor for about 3 weeks (3 times a week for 4 weeks, then once a month after that) and I have only had to take Tylenol (even though it isn't as good as ibuprophen) 2 or 3 times and only the normal dose and my head stopped hurting. It is so great! I never thought I would not have a headache and sure enough!! I haven't! A lot of people are skeptics when it comes to chiropractors. This guy is amazing!! He doesn't manually adjust anything. It's called the pro-adjuster and I don't know how it works, but oh it is great!! I love it!!!

So, there is an update on my life :) All the note worthy stuff!!!

Have a great day!!
Love JaNae
