Ten for the last 3 weeks :)

Wow, it has been awhile, December has been extremely busy!! I haven't had much time to do anything, except work.

1-With the holidays work has been really busy and we were able to let me work and be on call at the same time, which was really cool, because then I wasn't doing nothing waiting for the pager to go off.

2-We had the Nielson Christmas Party earlier in the month, I have always loved going to those, I look forward to it every year.

3-School is over! YAY! Well... now it is about to start again. I passed all my classes with A's except Biology... I'm retaking that next semester.

4-John has been gone the last 2 weeks. It has been a long 2 weeks. I was able to go and hang out with people I normally wouldn't. So, that was fun. I went to the festival of lights, went climbing (in a jeep) which was way fun! I didn't know jeeps could do some of the things they can!

5-We had the Reid Christmas party which was fun, dinner, festival of lights, and presents!

6a-I had quite the experience wearing my slippers on a call. So, here is the story. I was out cold on the couch, the pager went off and I was so out of it that I didn't even realize the pager was going off until I heard Riley yell "Run JaNae! Run!"

6b-I hurried and got dressed, and attempted to put on my boots since it was snowing, and I wasn't quite that coordinated so I just threw on my slippers because we were just going on a basic house call. I had my fleece liner to my coat and wore that, but I didn't have my gloves, or earmuffs because they are in my shell. No biggie though because we were just going on a house call.

6c-We get done with the call, and right as we pull into the bay (station) the pager goes off to a rollover up SF Canyon. So, I go up the canyon in my slippers, without my shell, gloves, and earmuffs. It was quite the experience! Luckily, the vehicle didn't roll down the hill or I would have been hiking in the snow in my slippers.

6d-I do have to say though, that my toes were pretty warm! :D

7-We had an awesome Christmas! I got a camera, a pink filing cabinent, an automatic starter for my car, and a glucometer (since I am a freak like that haha), a lot of pj's, and a bunch of other stuff that I love!!

8-For Christmas Shilyn, Katana, and Maridan got a puppy from Santa Clause!! Almost fully house trained...I feel bad for whoever had to have her for the first 4 weeks, with the lack of sleep! hahahahaha... what a great Christmas Suprise. :D

9-Mason got a snake! I love snakes! I am so jealous. Her name is Sarahfiki.

10-Me, Tava, Maridan, and my Grandma stayed up watching movies until 2am. It was fun! We watched All about Steve, and Yes Man. My Grandpa spoiled us(that must be where my dad and Mason get it from) he made us all popcorn and brought it down to us, without us even asking for any. I love him so much!!

That is a basic summary of the last 3 weeks! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New year!!
