Ten on Thursday

Hello!!! Sorry, I am a little later this week for my ten. So here I go!

1-First of all, the BEST thing happened at work Tuesday... I was cashiering and this person walks through the door that looked a lot like my Dad. At first I was like no, that is not my Dad, he won't be home for a week. Then, I looked closely and it was! He was trying to be very quiet so I didn't know it was him. But, once the line cleared which it took FOREVER I went and hugged him and cried, and cried, and cried, my manager ended up calling the guy in shoes to cashier so I could talk with my Dad, and calm down. It was very happy!

2-Lately at work my manager Marla and I have decided that ice cream is the cure all. So... most times when we work together we go and get ice cream. Kinda like this one... except usually without the M&M's.

Yes, the yellow tags to the left of my ice cream is what I was supposed to be working on lol

3-Tava, Mason and I went to the Trace Adkins/Toby Keith concert. Maridan went to Bear Lake, so she gave Mason her ticket.

We decided that we didn't want to be late to this concert since we were so late to George Strait, so we left way super early and got there about an hour and a half before the concert started. So, we sat on the gravel before the gates... this is what happened. Yes, that is a rock in my ear thanks to Tava.

4-However, I had a bit of a reality check about 4 songs into Toby Keith (he was after Trace Adkins). The reality check was that all of Toby Keith and Trace Adkins songs are very very degrading towards women. If, anyone knows me very well they know that I have a very low tolerance for that. (Thanks to the boys) So, after a huge reality check and several tears the 3 of us decided that we would leave early. I was pretty shook up over the whole thing because I used to love Toby Keith. It never donned on me what the songs were about. It was horrible. I was also very proud of Mason because he really wanted to go to this concert and then to leave early wasn't an easy thing for him. Fortunately, he is a very caring young man and he left because it obviously made me upset, and Tava was pretty upset as well.

5-Monday, John and I went to the eye doctor. There isn't really a story behind this comment. I went to the eye doctor then John took me to Quiznos. Mmmm it was yummy!

6-John and I went and got my oil changed in my car, and we went and got his books and found his classes for school on Thursday. Then went and saw Tava's new apartment.

7-John taught me how to play minesweeper. I kinda like it. It is very much confusing and requires a lot of thinking lol!
