Random Quote of the Week

Thank you whoever made this and Facebook for letting me see this!!

To all the single ladies in such a hurry to get married, here's a quick piece of Bibical advice:

Ruth patiently waited for her mate Boaz. While waiting on YOUR Boaz, don't settle for ANY of his relatives: Brokeaz, Poaz, Lyinaz, Cheatinaz, Dumbaz, Cheapaz, Lockedupaz, Goodfornothinaz, Lazyaz or Marriedaz, and especially his third cousin Beatinyoaz. Please, wait for your Boaz and make sure he respects Yoaz.

I am so glad I found my Boaz!!

Our Office Romance

I'm almost embarrassed to admit this... But, it's the truth and the one who will give me the most amount of crap about this already knows... I don't enjoy stupid comedy... I think that it is... well, STUPID. I believe it fries brain cells. As much as I hate to admit it... There is one show that is stupid comedy that I am beginning to love. This show is...

The Office.

It took me quite a few episodes to enjoy it, and then it took Justin saying that Jim and Pam's relationship is very similar to our relationship to REALLY start loving The Office.

Justin and I since day 1 at Big 5 have always been good friends. We would both check the schedule every week to see if we worked with each other. We kept each other entertained, had our little inside jokes, and helped each other if one of us was having a bad day.

Just like Pam, I always had a "crush" on Justin, but was always dating someone else. Just like Jim, Justin was always making me laugh, talking to me, and secretly wishing that I would be single long enough for him to ask me out.

Just like Jim tells Michael that he has a crush on Pam, Justin tells a mutual friend/coworker, that he has a crush on me. That mutual friend told me. This story is different though. Justin wasn't drunk and Justin figured that friend would tell me and that nothing but good could come from it.

The rest is history!! Now, as I watch The Office, I am reminiscing about how Justin and I used to be and I realize that working together was really just building up a friendship that is a huge strength in our relationship.
