Our Vegas Vacation

I have only been to Vegas once, when I was 10. We stopped there for a night on our way to Disneyland. Didn't really do or see much. Then, Tava got a brilliant idea to go down! Just her, Erik, Me, Justin, Aubrey, and Kyle. We booked a hotel and we went... Except, Aub and Kyle, things didn't quite work out as planned with them, which was a bummer. None the less... we had a BLAST!!!


Justin had to work Friday morning so I dropped him off at work, went home and finished packing and getting everything ready, then when he was off I picked him up, he changed real quick and we were off!!

We stayed at his uncle Darrin's house Friday night. When we got there we basically said hi, then I went to sleep. I was exhausted... I was still recovering from Bronchitis and nights were still really hard at this point in time. We woke up way earlier than planned Saturday morning when his little cousin 4 yrs old came in to see Justin. After talking some more, Darrin made us breakfast and then we went and laid down for a while, but I was too restless, so we left to go see if we could check into our hotel room.

We checked into the Terrible's, unloaded our stuff and then just hung around until Tava and Erik came down. Justin took me down to the casino to go gambling for the first time. I can't decide if I like it or not. Well... I like winning... as do most people. The hotel all in all It wasn't too bad. We got a pretty good deal at hotels.com (I think). It was about a mile away from the strip.

Tava and Erik took forever and a day to get down to Vegas, so Justin and I went to Tommy Burger. It was super yum!! I have never had a chili burger or fries or anything like that. It was so good! However, it was most definitely a good way to give yourself a heart attack.

Justin wanted to do a fancy date night, so Saturday night we dressed up and went to The Grand Lux Cafe, then went on a Gondola ride. Oh my heck! It was amazing! It was the most perfect night! I loved every part about it, minus my shoes... I had huge blisters and we ended up having to cut our night short because my feet were hurting so bad. I still wouldn't trade it for anything though!!! It was so romantic and just perfect!!

I love this man!! He is so wonderful!!

Sunday Erik and Justin went golfing, while they were golfing Tava and I sunbathed, then went back to the room showered, then vegged on the bed.

 

After the boys got back they got ready then we went to dinner at the Treasure Island buffet.

This was at the water show at the Bellagio. It was so amazing!
We watched 2 in a row because I was so fascinated by it.

We left Monday but before we left we went and explored the south (maybe) end of the strip. We went to MGM and saw the lions. Oh how I loved the lions!!! Then went to the M&M factory, Coke factory, Panda Express, New York New York, then home.

I was completely mesmerized by the lions! These guys
sat and played with them like they were big dogs. It was amazing!

We were most definitely not ready to go home. We had way
too much fun.
