Ten on Friday

Long time no post... I am a slacker I know!!

Well for the last month... this is what I have been up too... This is not going to be in any particular order.

1-In case you haven't noticed, John and I broke up about 2 months ago. It was hard. Break ups are no fun at all. I still talk to him quite a bit, but we are no longer dating.

2-My friend Kim and I signed up to be EMT's for the High School rodeo. It was pretty fun especially since I got to ride a horse!!!! YAY!!! I have always wanted to ride a horse!! I was telling Kim that I wanted to so she stopped one of the high school cowboys and asked them if I could ride his horse. It was so fun!! If you go to facebook you can see the videos. I was going crazy!!

3-I went to the St. George EMS conference. I had a total blast!! I loved it!! It was a little overwhelming at times, but totally worth it! I am excited to go again next year!

4-I finished my CERT class!! I loved it!! I really do LOVE emergency everything!!

5-My dad bought all 3 of the Mountain Family Robinsons dvd's. We used to watch them all of the time, and then he found them on dvd so we had a marathon. We only made it through 2 before we were all too tired to watch the 3rd one.

6-I drove code (lights and sirens) all the way up the canyon!! I didn't even die!! I was pretty annoyed when the pager went off. It completely ruined my plans and I was so mad! So I took it out on the road... up the canyon...in the rain... driving fast. It helped. Kim told me that I had better slow down cause she didn't want to die... so I slowed down a little bit... :)

7-Hmmm... I am trying to think of anything else... before the last one that I have. I don't think I have any.... So...

8-Sunday May 2nd, my bishop texts me and the conversation goes something like 

"Are you still at the church?"

I say "no, but I can be in about 5 min"

He said "okay, never mind, are you coming to FHE tomorrow?" 
"Ummm... maybe"
"Come to FHE, I want you to meet someone"
"Someone? Like a boy??"

"Yes, like a boy"

"Cool! I'll be there!"

Monday May 3- I go to FHE, he doesn't show.

Sunday May 9- I walk into Sunday School and Bishop Peay sees me, shakes my hand, looks around the room and says "he's in the other room, come see me after class" Well I didn't. I just sat in my corner and hid. I like hiding in corners. We got out of Relief Society early and Bishop Peay was in the hall. He says "hold on" walks into priesthood and pulls out... 

Yeah, I thought I was going to die! He is 6'4, and CUTE!!!!! So, we talk for a while. Then, I go home, and have a friend request on Facebook... We talk on facebook for about 2 days, then started texting.

A little about him.

     -His name is Chris Wilson

     -He is 26

     -He is done with school, majored in music. Teaches band at Maple Mountain High School. The school Mason will go to next year.

     -He just bought a house, yes a HOUSE, it's just a small condo, but he owns it.

     -He plays almost every instrument, mainly sax, and he is in a band.

     -He is a whole foot taller than I am. Holy cow! If I didn't feel short before... I definately do now!

      -He is really really REALLY cute

      -Most importantly, he is completely respectful.

Sunday May 16- I see him in church and completly ignore him!! I was terrified of him!! I would wave to him and keep walking. Never even stopped to talk. He texted me later that night and asked if I wanted to go to a fireside with him. I said yes, so I went to the fireside, then ward prayer, then his house, then a friends house, then his house, with him, then I went home.

Monday May 17- I went over to his house and we just talked

Tuesday May 18- I was supposed to go to his band banquet at MMHS after I was off call at 7. See #6 of my ten. THE STUPID PAGER GOES OFF AT 6:45!!!!!! I was sooo mad! Well, after we get home from the call. Luckily it wasn't a transport. I go to MMHS at 7:45 just to say hi, before I had to meet with a member of the bishopric at 8:15. After, the meeting, I met up with Chris and we went to Walmart and then back to his house and talked some more.

Wednesday May 19- I go over to his house again. We talk some more. 

Thursday May 20- I went with him to his band practice and listened and watched him play. He is pretty much amazing!!

Friday May 21- I haven't seen him...yet. :)

Pretty much, I have come to the conclusion that he is way super duper cute and I guess we will see where things end up.
