Ten on Tuesday!

Oh boy! Do I have stories for you...This is going to be a long post, but it is rather funny, So, I suggest reading it, and since it is pretty funny, well it is for me at least, I think you should leave comments! :)

1-Last Tuesday I was on main, and Maridan and I decided to go to Wingers... we love Wingers... Anyways, the pager went off, right as they were bringing me my Wingers Salad which is so incredibly yummy, so I had to leave it there with Maridan. I was pretty bitter over the whole thing, and I didn't think I am ever going to live down my bad attitude to the rescue guys. However, times have changed, and now they have even more to make fun of me for...

2-My Dad is home!!! That is probably the happiest of all the things that happened this week!! However, at 6:30am the next morning I was about ready to ship him back! He was crazy hyper and was going around the house yelling down heater vents, bounce pouncing everyone in sight, he had the dogs so wound up they were barking and running around like maniacs. It was pretty chaotic, but it was crazy fun and I loved it!! I didn't realize how much I missed him.

3-I saw some really cool collages people have made, and so I downloaded Picasa and made some, it was pretty fun!!! As you can see since my blog is full of them! :)

4-We have been babysitting a friend of ours, dog. Her name is Bella, and she is about a year old and she is a white lab... if there is such a thing, I just know she is light. She has made herself right at home as you can see with these pictures. She sleeps with my every night right on my feet!

5-The other night John and I were watching Mulan, and you know the part where she tries to act all "manly and tough" and spits... well attempts to spit? I laughed and told John that I spit like that. A few days later I was headed back home and it was like 11:45ish and I had to be home by 12.

5a-John calls me back up the stairs and when I get to the top he has me look over the balcony and then he puts his arms around me, I just kinda sat there just enjoying myself, and then I say "okay I really need to go now." Then he responds with "you have to spit off the balcony before you can go."

5b-I refuse, but he is tougher then me and so I attempt to spit over the balcony. In my attempt I managed to land it right on my chin. SICK!! So, I wiped it off with my hand and then tried to flip it off my hand, yeah that wasn't going to work.

5c-I convince him to let me go and wash my hands and get a drink of water, by this time I am laughing so hard that my stomach hurts. It's now like 11:50ish and he is still relentless. So, I get some water in my mouth and just let it drool over the balcony and then he finally let me go home. It was so funny and so gross all at the same time! Needless to say I was late getting home, and when I told my dad the reason why, he thought it was hillarious!

6-Friday John and I went to the apartment of a friend of his. We dressed up and palyed games. I went as a construction worker, and John as a frog. I wish I had pictures, but I don't. I wore jeans, a flannel shirt, a hard hat and had a tape measure hooked to me, and John wore all green and cut a red peice of paper out and taped it to his shirt. It wasn't too bad considering we did it in less then 10 minutes.

7-Saturday John and I went shopping to get him some pants. Oh my goodness!! I was laughing so hard! I thought my stomach hurt when I was trying to spit off the balcony, holy cow it was nothing compared to Saturday. John was on one and he just kept me laughing! It was great! We also went to Iceberg and got massive huge shakes they were yummy!! :)

8-After shopping we went down to my Grams house and ended up going trick-or-treating with some of my cousins. It was very fun!! Afterwards, we went over to CJ's house and played some games there. We played Apples to Apples, Spoons, and had a rock, paper scissors tournament. It was a good night full of lots of fun and laughter.

9-Sunday I went to church and then went up to Provo to watch President Uchtdorf give a talk at the CES fireside. It was an amazing talk!

10-Monday, was a day I would rather forget. I was on a call, and I was driving code 3 to the hospital. Code 3 is lights and sirens. Well, to make a long story short I almost T-Boned another car because they are an idiot, with a patient in the back. It was way scary, and the people in the back were screaming and yelling at me.

10a-Everything ended up being okay in the end, I didn't get in an accident, and no one was too injured, mainly just shook up. I think I was the most shook up. After we got to the hospital I sat in the back of the ambulance and just lost all control, I cried and cried and cried, I ended up going off call for an hour and a half so I could try and get myself under control.

10b-I was able to finally stop crying, but I was still shook up enough that when I thought about it I would start crying again. It was by far the scariest experience I have ever had. I don't think I will ever drive again. I hate it so bad.

10c-Something that did help though was after it was all done and over with and we were back at the station, everyone told me that it happens to everyone and yeah, it is scary, but you live and learn. I was very grateful for that. Because, I was just about to throw my hands up in the air and quit. I was humiliated and scared and wow, it was just rough.

11-Monday night was the first of 3 days that I have my Phlebotomy class that I set up. I am pretty proud of myself :) Now, hopefully I can get out of Big 5 and into something that is better then retail. I did promise them though that I wouldn't quit until after the holidays, so I am still there until January at least.
