Ten on Thursday

Have you ever seen Grey's Anatomy?? It's AWESOME! I am obsessed.... and by obsessed I mean really really obsessed. Worse then House and Hero's. Now, that is bad. :)

1-I had quite the experience when I was on call this last week. I had a pretty nasty car accident. No one died, but the girl hit her head and she was in and out of consciousness and everytime she came into consciousness she was really combative. I got scratched and she tried to bite me (and everyone else). It was pretty intense, but I guess she is home now and everything is fine.

2-That same day I had a fall and a seizure, then I had a full code. Meaning, CPR and the whole shabang. It was pretty intense. I have never had to do CPR on a real person before. We never were able to revive her. I was incredibly sore the next day and kind of a grouch. I think my brain was on overload, but after a hot bath and sleep and tears, I was up and ready for another about 2 days later. :)

3- I spent about 2 days doing nothing except watching Grey's Anatomy. I love it!!! I cry and I laugh, it's an emotional roller coaster.

4-My car decided to go screwy. It worked fine and the next thing I know the instruments (gas gauge, temp. gauge, speedometer) and the heater/air conditioner, windows wouldn't work. The radio worked, and the windsheild wipers worked and the locks worked, so we figured it was just a blown fuse. Well, my dad is in South Carolina and I barely know what a fuse is. So I called Auto Zone, and the conversation went kind of like this.

Me:What time do you close tonight?

Them: 10 o'clock.

Me: Good answer! Can you help me?? My dad is out of town, and my car is screwy and the instruments won't work, and I am just a stupid girl who knows absolutely nothing about cars. Do you know what it could be?

Them: Probably a fuse. Bring in on down and we will help you. Even if it is 9:58 we will still help you.

Me: Thank you so much!!! You're the best!!

So, I went to Auto Zone, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. There wasn't a fuse blown, and so the guy who was working there called a buddy of his who is an Oldsmobile guru. Then, he came and ended up looking at some stuff then he realized that we just needed to push the reset button on the fuse box (stupid cars). Needless to say, we love Auto Zone. It was great!

5-I went and got my hair cut, I now have bangs, well sorta just more of a swoop bang, but it is pretty crazy. It scares me :) however, I like it.

6-It seems like I know a lot of people who know people who are dying. It is very sad. I just hope no one I am close to passes away anytime soon.

7-Yellie and I went to the Pizza Factory today. Mmmmmm!! It was very very yummy.

8-I have decided that I am content with my life. I have found a place in life. I have great friends, and I have a great family. I know where I want to go and where I want to be. It is an amazing feeling.

9-John and I hit 9 months of dating on Tuesday. It was a Tuesday so we didn't do anything (we generally don't do anything anyways) but yeah.... hahahaha! We have been dating for 9 whole months now. Pretty crazy stuff.
