Ten on Thursday

Wow... my life is crazy busy! I feel like I don't even have time to think, let alone write my Ten on Tuesdays...

So here is my Ten on Thursday in between school and soccer games.

1-Today, I needed to make a bunch of phone calls to car places to gt prices on tires and windshields. I learned a new trick... that if you call them and then call back with a lower competitors bid they will lower the price. It is really funny! So, I went over to my grandparents house to make some phone calls (since I didn't want to use minutes on my phone).

2-While I was there Maridan came home and conned... okay so asked and I went... if I would go to Sam's Club with her. So, I decided I would go... hey anything to get out of homework right? :)

3-We went and picked up the girls at school and went to Sam's then we went to One Man Band.

4-I am going on 3 days with this nasty headache and for the life of me I can not get rid of it. Bleck.

5-Over labor day weekend I was on call... So Sunday I took someones back up so from 7am-7pm. Then, a girl asked me if I could do a back up that night so 7pm-7am. Monday I was on Main from 7am-7pm, then I was on back up Tuesday from 7am-7pm. Friday and Saturday I worked. So, my weekend was filled with lots of crazy! However, I did get some good calls... but only on my main shift.

6-I went on a medical call where this lady was sick and we transported her, then I went on a roll over (no one was hurt), then I went on an overdose (a lady took a bunch of ambian with 4 beers) that was a funny call... I will make that number 7. Then we went on another medical call.

7-The call with the overdose lady was really really funny. I shouldn't laugh, but hey, we have to find humor somewhere in this job right? Right. Anyways... we get there and she is drunk... it was my first interaction with someone who was drunk, so it was quite the experience. :) She was crying, and that sad... I guess the whole thing was sad unless I tell you the story, but there is no way I am going to tell the story over the internet where anyone can get there... so if you are really interested e-mail me and I will gladly tell you!!

8-CJ comes home on Wednesday!!! Can you believe that?!?!? I remember when he was leaving and I was all upset and depressed and crying... hahaha wow... it went by way fast!!! I never thought I would say that.

9-Wednesday I went with John to get him a new phone... well to look... however, he ended up with a new phone AND on Verizon! Happy Day!! Now, I can talk to him for free anytime! How amazing is that!?!? I think it is amazing! After, we went and cleaned out his fish tank. That little Betta fish is his baby! :) It's so cute!!

10-Over Labor Day weekend I slept over at my Mom's with Riley and Kenzie. We ate kettle corn and watched Mrs. Doubtfire, and Trauma:Life in the ER. Then went to bed around 12. I was on back up that night and main went out once at 2, then Todd's alarm went off at 4 (we slept in my Mom's bed, but shhh she doesn't know hahaha) then the pager went off at 7:30. Kenzie and I pretty much didn't get a whole lot of sleep but that's okay! :)
