I LOVE THE 24TH OF JULY!!!!!!! :) Just an FYI for you!
Where do I start???
Facebook, for sure! That's pathetic I know...
1-So, the 24th started at 9 AM for the Parade. I LOVE Parades!
**I'll Add pictures of the 24th in a Slide show since everytime I try and upload them using the blog picture thing it messes everything up completely!
2-After the Parade, everyone went down to the park just to chat and look at the little boothe things they have. We pretty much melted. It was SO hot! I thought I was going to die!
3-John came down just in time for Maridan to buy some tornado fries, which are the BEST they are like french fries but thinner, so more like fresh potato chips made from potatos. Mmmmmm... they are yummy!
4-Then we went to my Grams and Bampa's for the annual money dive BBQ. What that is, is we all have a BBQ and eat lots, then the parents and my grandparents put coins in a pool and then they start diving well floating since the pool is small for coins. Each child that does it ends up with around $6 to $7 dollars in coins.
5-After the money dive BBQ, I went home and took a nap and John went over to visit with some friends in Provo. Then John came back and we went to the Rodeo. John has never been before and we go every year so it was fun to be able to teach him kinda what we knew about scoring and everything.
6-Shilyn rode mutton in the Rodeo on the 24th. Katana rode on the 23rd, and Dawson rode on the 22nd. I wasn't able to see Katana or Dawson, but I heard they did good and took 2nd place. Shilyn did good as well.
7- After the Rodeo we watched the fireworks and then went home.
8-Saturday I worked for a few hours then John and I decided to go to the Oquirhh Mountain Temple Open House. It was very pretty, but I like the layout of the Draper Temple more. (Am I allowed to say that??) :)
9-Monday I was on main, and wow was it a crazy day!! We picked up 2 medical calls within an hour of each other and both patients ended up in ICU. I haven't ever been on a call where a pt (pt is patient) was sick but stable when we got there and then crashed half way through the assesments or on the way to the hospital, and both pts did yesterday. It was rather intense. A good learning experience.
10-My Dad left for Arkansas for 3 weeks to work. It will be really lonely without him.
Well I think that is all I have. I will post picture later tonight probably!
Love JaNae
