Ten on Tuesday and My Hawaiian Vacation

Well.... this week I have A LOT to write on. It's going to be a huge Ten on Tuesday since I missed last week because I was in Hawaii!! :) I will do highlights in numbers and then bullets or something with more info that way you can choose if you want to read more details.

1-First of all I took my state practical test for my EMT class on Saturday, I just found out today that I passed. I am beyond excited considering that I wasn't so sure if I would pass it or not.
-I had a medical which was an Epi-pen which I completly froze up on, that was irritating.
-I also had a trauma which was a car accident which wasn't all that bad.

2-Monday I was on main and only had 2 calls, which I heard is a lot more then they had the previous week.
-I went on a ground level fall, and also a car accident. Neither was too serious

3-John came and spent the day with me while on main, that was a lot of fun! We made cheese pie aka cheesecake, for me and brownies for his FHE group.
-We had a very interesting time considering he wouldn't lick the bowl or the beaters or the spoons with me, so I started just trying to shove it in his mouth... that didn't work he turned his face so he got a cheek full of cheese pie filling. The he decided to get revenge by pouring water on me.

4-I also got beat up by Maridan too... okay so that is a lie...
-I had to go over to my grandparents house to get something for my Dad, and there Maridan was laying on the floor just as comfy as can be... well... I couldn't let her be that comfy... it just wasn't right, so I pounced her! After the pounce, I started to bounce, then tickle, then I got attacked by her daughter Katana and her daughters friend. It was quite the match that we had going.

5-I also got beat up by my Mom all Monday as well...okay I lied again...well...kinda
-This was a mutual beat up fest. :) I pounced her several times, but then I came back over to eat dinner around 9 which was very yummy by the way. Anyways... so I was one up from her cause I got her good, then after I was done eating she started to attack me. It was fun! After we left John told me that he now understands a lot better now. hahahaha I guess I have picked up some quirks from my Mom that he couldn't figure out, but now it all makes sense! :)

6-Sunday was Fathers Day, and Yellie got to speak in church. She did an excellent job I was impressed! After church we went down to my Grandparents and ate dinner and then just sat around and talked.

7-After full from dinner John and I went for a walk to the park and then through the cemetary. It was really fun, the cemetary always has a sense of calming/reassuring/thoughtful thing about it. I find myself thinking about my life and how I can better it because you never know when today will be your last day.





Well now I am done with my highlights of the week that have absolutely nothing to do with Hawaii. So here is my Hawaiian Vacation. **Pictures are to come**





1-Let's start back at Christmas Day... we find out that we are going to Hawaii, we were pretty much stoked!! It was one of the longest 6 months of our lives!!
-We being My Dad, Koral, Me, Tava, Mason and Yellie

2-Well it FINALLY came around, not at all quickly and we were on our way! Yipee yay!!
-We had a 2 hour flight to Seattle, which wasn't all too bad, then we had a 4 hour lay over which we pretty much all slept through. Then we had a 6 hour flight of pure misery from Seattle to Lihue, Kaua'i. They didn't feed us the whole time so we were starved and then the flight was freezing, and ughhh it was not fun at all!!
-Mason was our camel. He is such a sweetheart! He wouldn't let any of us girls carry anything. He would carry everything give or take a bag or 2 that we split up between the 3 of us. He was like that the whole trip. Always putting his sisters first. That is pretty cool for a 14 year old boy.

3-On our first day there (after we slept since we landed at 7pm there) we went snorkeling. It was tons of fun!!
-We saw 2 sea turtles and a bunch of cool fish!

4-Later on that day we went boogie boarding... wow was that an adventure!!
-I did it several times then pretty much got killed by a wave so I got off, then on my way back to shore I got slammed into rocks and cut my toe up, bleck it was not fun! I never did get back on the boogie board.

5-We went to a beach that was really secluded but had a perfect view of where the sun would set, so we stayed there to watch the sunset.
-While waiting for the sun to set we played in the ocean just jumping waves. Holy sand EVERYWHERE!!!!! I could take handfulls of sand out of my swimming suit. The sand was matted in my hair, I washed my hair 2-3 times and I still couldn't get sand out. I'm suprised that I'm still not finding sand.
-The sunset was amazing!! It was so cool to see it set!!

6-Somewhere probably at the previous beach I got eaten alive by mosquitos. I could count 21 mosuito bites with a little less then half on one leg. I think by the end of the trip I had roughly 30 mosquito bites.

7-We caught crabs on the beach...
-hahahaha!! It was tons of fun, and it makes it even funner to say that we caught crabs in terms of the STD.
-There were little sand crabs and we spent a good 2-3 hours catching them, it was quite the process. Koral has videos on her facebook, you can see them even without being her friend just click on video's of me on my profile and then they are called catching crabs and the best one is the 5 minute video. You can also see pictures if you just click on pictures of me on my profile and then click on the album "The Reids take Kaua'i One" There are 2 albums so far and that has most of our pictures and then captions to go along. I will also add some on here whenever I get a chance.

8-We ate a cheeseburger in Paradise. Mmmm... it was very yummy!!

9-We came home to rain and cold... Brrrrr!! It was so miserable!! We went from having at least 80 degree weather, whether it was raining, middle of the night, whatever, it was at least 80 degrees. Then we get home to rain and 60 degrees. Ughhh... it was not fun!!!

So there is my last 2 weeks, in a very breif summary, even though this was a long post! :) Have a great week and I will try to get photos up soon!
