Ten On Tuesday

HELLO!!!!! Here is my ten for the week!

I added pictures to the bottom of the page of Christmas

1-Christmas was great!! I was kind of a scrooge at first (well until Christmas day) but once Christmas day hit I just couldn't be a scrooge any longer.

2-For Christmas Eve we went to my Grandma Caldwells, it is always fun being able to see people.

3-From my Mom I got 1/3 of my laptop (yeah I got my christmas and birthday present in Aug.) I did get a few other things including a book, and gift cards, and a magic 8 ball. Thanks Mom!

4-At my Dad's we were a little confused... hahahaha Koral had just gotten back from Hawaii.. well I guess it was a couple of months ago. ANYWAYS all of our presents were just small souveniers (luggage tags, key chains, necklaces, earrings, a hawaii wrap thing, etc.) We also had coconuts in our stockings which really through us off because none of us like coconut. So we are sitting there opening up just random Hawaiian things, and Yellie says "we have to be going to Hawaii..." then my Dad and Koral kept saying stuff like "No... you're going to be greatly disappointed." Mason opened the luggage tags first and right off the bat I was thinking we're going to Hawaii!!! But I wasn't all the way sure just because Mason gets random presents like that sometimes. So next... Yellie opens up luggage tags, so I text Tava and say $10 says we are going to Hawaii and she is all doubt it but maybe. So we all finish opening up our presents and it's time to open up the one present we have from Santa Clause, that is the same shape, size, everything, so we all unwrapped it and it was Scuba gear!!! By then we had all caught on and my Grandma keeps saying "If you are going to Hawaii, I am coming with you!" It is now time to open our last present from my Dad and Koral, come to find out it's a book that says "Reid family vacation 2009 Kauai!!"

5-So yes, we are going to Hawaii (Kauai) we are so so so so so so excited! However, we have a 6 month waiting period... we leave June 10 and come back June 16. To see a hilarious video of Tava dancing in snorkeling gear... go to her facebook, she uploaded a video of her dance, it is so funny!!

6-Hawaii was a great gift, however I think the best gift of all was when Maridan found out that we were her "secret admirers" (We did the 12 days of Christmas for her, Gram, Bampa, and the girls)

7-Other things this week... I went sledding for my first time this year, and I only almost died once, when I decided to stand on a boogie board (yes for the ocean.. it works great in snow) and my friend Josh (Josh Coltes) was standing on the front of it. Well, we kinda flew off the boogie board...and tumbled down the hill... OUCH!!! I am almosst positive we looked like the movies where 2 people tumble together rolling all around each other, because when we stopped I was partly laying on him and he was partly laying on me. It was intense!!

8-I got my car stuck in the snow for the first time ever... I was trying to turn around but went to far before I put it in reverse and I slid nose down right into the ditch, (and no Mar... all 4 tires were on the ground even though you didn't think the back one was) My Bampa being the stubborn guy that he is decided he wasn't going to wait for my Dad to come pull me out so he did it himself... I was so going to beat him!! I thought my Dad was going to kill me because when I told him that Bampa was going to pull me out my Dad said "DON'T LET GRANDPA GET UNDER THE CAR!!!" So I stood in the way of my Bampa and he starts cussing at me and then he just lays down in the middle of the road and rolls under the car!! I was about ready to die, my Dad was going to kill me!! I had my Mom in the house ticked that I made my Grandpa pull me out... but I so didn't! I got my car stuck when my Bampa, Gram, and Maridan came to get me! Ughh... it was intense! Fortunately Chase pulled up and he helped my Bampa and we had it out of the snow before my Dad was able to come.

9-Christmas day I had a bunch of friends come over (about 8ish so it was more like Christmas night) we attempted to watch A Christmas Story... however, it was played but we weren't watching it! We ended up in a 15 person wrestling match with Shilyn and Katana right in the middle of it!! It was so much fun!! After the movie was over most everyone left except Josh and he stayed and played a bunch of games with us (us being me, Shilyn, Katana, Maridan, Yellie, and Mason) we played this crazy game called Snorta... oh man!! It is tons of fun, it is a really whacked out version of Slap Jack and wow what an experience!! Maridan ended up winning after being completely out of cards about 7 times and she just kept calling the animal noise to get herself back into the game. The game lasted about 3 hours with about an hour and a half to 2 hours with just Maridan, Josh, and Mason in the game. We were cracking up! I think the game ended about 1:15 AM and Josh left about 1:45 AM. Maridan ended up sleeping in my bed with me, and I woke up to be to work at 5:45 AM. I was really really tired that day.

10-Kyle, Aub, Darryk, Me, Josh, and Yellie played another game of Snorta about 3 days later and Josh won that game. He is amazing at it, it isn't fair!!
