Ten on Tuesday

Wow my Ten on Tuesdays are getting earlier and earlier... but I needed a break so here we go!

FYI:This is a really really really long Ten on Tuesday... if you just want the highlights of the week and not the random side notes then only read the BOLDED numbers because the rest are just new paragraphs to my storys! hahaha so it's your call! :)

1-Let's start with today.. Sunday. Tava and I both ganged up on our room, and cleaned it so we can turn it into a guest room. It is crazy what kind of stuff you forgot youhad when you haven't looked through any drawers in your room for 3 years.

2-Saturday I went shopping with my Mom, Tava, Aubrey, and Yellie. We ended up getting rings with our names on them and I got some tan pants for Maceys, and Yellie got a brand new winter coat.

3-Saturday night I went to The Haunted Forest with some friends. It was a blast!! I loved it! I found out that when I am scared I talk... so I talked and talked and talked and talked. I would talk to the scary guys and I would talk to the trees and I would talk to myself. THEN there was the chain saws... I hate chain saws!! HATE HATE HATE chainsaws! So when I heard them or saw them...I ran!

4-OH!!! I forgot!! I had quite the interesting week!! Holy cow!! So Monday I get home from work, while I am trying to do my homework I get a call from a very old friend from junior high, who... well we didn't exactly end on good terms, for lack of better words. His name is Austin... so he calls me and I pick up my phone (we are on better terms now we text all the time)

5-After I get over the shock of him calling me I answer and just start small talk with him, and then next thing I know he tells me he is coming over! WEIRD!! K... the last time I think I talked to him face to face was when my boys had to put him and this other girl in their place because they wouldn't leave me alone. I am sending this to the boys as well I am hoping they don't KILL me for befriending him again.

6-So Austin comes over and I sit outside (freezing) and talk to him for about a half hour when I decide that I am freezing. I even invited him in my house and he chickened out. (Dumb boy!) So yeah... he pretty much put me into shock. But it was fun to be able to catch up with him and know that we can be civil towards each other.

7-BUT!! That was weird...Trust me... WEIRD but not as weird as this next story. When we lived at my old house clear back before I was in 3rd grade. I was best friends with this boy in my neighborhood (kinda funny that I was best friends with boys even when I was in grade school) ANYWAYS... staying focused!

8-So I was best friends with this boy named Brent Peay.

9-He has pretty much gone off the deep end... DEEP DEEP DEEP end!! Wow! I first got in contact with him when he walked into Big 5 about oh... 5 months ago or something, and I saw him and instantly I recognized him. He pretty much has these eyes that are like none other... and I could recognize them anywhere. So I saw him at Big 5 and I just ignored him and pretended that I didn't know who he was... when all of a sudden I hear.. "WHOA! JaNae! Is that you?!?!"

10-So Brent did remember me and I was very glad to see that he did! After that encounter he would pop in every once in awhile and just see how I was doing and then he would disappear for another month or so. Wow... that wa long detour. So the I think it was Tuesday... I don't remember it was the day after I talked with Austin, Brent comes into Big 5 and asks for my phone number. I don't want to lose touch with him, so I gave him my phone number and invited him to go to lunch with me and Aubrey.

11-That was so much fun!!!! I was so happy! And even though he is all kinds of messed up and completely opposite of me, he was totally respectful. The boys would be proud! He opened my door to my car, and opened the door to Barrys (where we ate) and yeah it was awesome! I wasn't expecting such a respectful boy... I wasn't expecting disrespect but definately not full on respect from my boys!

12-On Wednesday I worked (at Big 5) a double shift. I went in at 5 a.m. to help with inventory until 8 and then went to school until 1 and went back to work at 5:30 p.m. and worked until close so 10 p.m. Needless to say I was exhausted!!!

13-I then opened the next day so was there at 9 A.M. worked until 6, then I went to school at 9 the next morning and worked 5 to close that night as well. By then it was Saturday and I was so sick of Big 5 that I called in and found someone to work for me. So I got my weekend off!

Wow I am at 13 so I am going to stop talking now! Have a most wonderful week!
